So much for keeping up

I haven't been on here blogging in an entire week. So much for keeping up with the Wedding PLanning. Well not much to talk about. Wedding plans are up in the air. I am leaning towards wanting a destination wedding myself now. Looking at how much it is going to cost to do something here in Atlanta, its astronomical and I really don't want to spend all that money.

We're Engaged!

I've been blogging for awhile but I have specifically started this blog for the purposes of tracking the deets of my engagement and wedding planning bliss....or not.

So we have been engaged for 24 hours and I'm still on cloud 9....

Here's the engagement story:

On Mon. Oct 10, 2011, my beau and I were sitting on the sofa and Quincy said "We need to talk." Of course I started to think the worst. So he starts to tell me how much over the years we have been through so much and when you love someone you don't want to lose them. Then he proceeded to say but sometimes its hard to know how to do that. He then stands up and gets on his knee and says "I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you be my wife?" I was in shock! Had no clue. I'm so excited...oh yes....I said YES!!!!

Now, let the planning begin!
